Individual Therapy

My approach to individual therapy is fundamentally relational, providing a safe space to explore your feelings and experiences about people and situations in your life, working toward an increase in self-awareness. My first priority is to build collaborative, authentic, and trusting relationships with my clients. I believe, and evidence supports that this type of relationship is essential for effective therapy, as it helps people feel safe taking emotional risks, testing out new ways of relating to themselves and others, and ultimately make lasting changes. Our time together allows a chance for greater self-understanding and acceptance including understanding how past experiences shape the way we view ourselves and others.
